Ajmer Information


Erstwhile the holy city of Ajmer was the empire of Chauhan dynasty. The city was founded by Ajay Pal Chauhan in the 7th Ajmer Sharif, Ajmer Tours & Travelscentury. Dargah Sharif: Dargah Sharif is the main attraction of Ajmer. It is shrine tomb of the Sufi Saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti who came here from Persia. One of the most sacred Muslim shrines in India, the Dargah is equally revered by Hindus also. Tourists from far and from here come here to visit the Dargah Sharif. The actual tomb of the saint is built in marble with a gold-plated dome and is surrounded by a marble screen with a silver railing. Nasiyan Jain Temple: Located on the Prithvi Raj Marg in Ajmer, this temple is one of the most worth visiting attractions of Ajmer. Dedicated to the first Jain Thirthankara Rishab Deo Ji, this temple has historic appeal and houses a museum within its complex. The interior of this famous temple is decorated with gold, silver, precious and semi-precious stones.

Kishangarh Fort: One of the major attractions of Ajmer tours, this imposing fort was built by Maharaja Roop Singh in 1653.
