Day 01 : Chennai
After arrive in Chennai Airport you will be find there Swagat Tours Representatives to greet you and your family. After that you will be escorted to the hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel.
Day 02 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram
After hearty breakfast in the morning, enjoy the Chennai city tour at the tourist places like Fort St George and Museum. In the afternoon tour to Dakshinachitra Cultural Village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel.
Day 03 : Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
After a relaxed breakfast in the morning enjoy the sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram's 7th century rock cut shore temples.
Mahabalipuram:- An open stone art gallery, Mahabalipuram is world famous for its shore temples.
In the afternoon, drive to Pondicherry. Pondichery has assets of heritage buildings of both French and Tamil architectural style. Pondicherry is pleasant to explore on foot. Overnight stay will be at heritage hotel in Pondicherry.
Day 04 : Pondicherry
After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy the full day city tour covering the French Quarter of Pondicherry and Museum. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 05 : Gangakondacholapuram - Darasuram
After hearty breakfast in the morning, drive to Gangakondacholapuram and Darasuram, the temples dating back to 10th Century. Overnight stay at the Swamimalai Heritage Resort.
Day 06 : Swamimalai
After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy the day at Swamimalai experiencing the two famous traditional crafts of the city - bronze statue making and pottery. Evening spent in watching Cultural Programmes. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 07 : Pullamangai - Tanjore
While enroute towards Dindugal visit Pullamangai Temple, Tanjore Temple and Museum. Drive to Karaikudi, home to old merchants houses, build in traditional style. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 08 : Dindugal
A 3 hrs drive takes you to Dindugal and check into Cardamom House, a quiet traditional home on the banks of the Kamaraj Lake at the foot of the Western Ghats. The nearby village offers the opportunity to observe the daily routine/life style of Tamilians. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 09 : Madurai
After hearty breakfast in the morning, drive to Madurai. Upon arrival in Madurai, Swagat Tours Representatives will assist you to transfer to the Taj Garden Retreat hotel. Afternoon visit to Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum and Meenakshi Temple, the principle landmarks of the city. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 10 : Kovalam
After a realaxed breakfast in the morning, drive to Kovalam en route visiting Padmanabhapuram Teak Palace, the only Teak palace in India. Overnight stay at Chowra Beach near Kovalam at Heritage hotel.
Day 11 : Kovalam
Take hearty breakfast in the morning. Relax for the whole day at the Beach whether doing sunbath, lying down on the smooth sand or whiling away around the beach. Overnight stay at Heritage hotel.
Day 12 : Thottapally
After hearty breakfast in the morning, drive to Thottapally. Upon arrival Swagat Tours Representatives will assist you to transfer to the traditional Kettuvallam Houseboat. Travel across the lush green backwaters of Kerala observing the traditional lifestyle of the Keralites. The common scenes capture the temples, fishing, and people tending their crops and coconut plantations as you drift through the canals. Overnight at the houseboat.
Day 13 : Kayaloram
Your houseboat will drop you at Kayaloram lake Resort on the banks of the backwaters. Traditional Keralan houses have been reconstructed in this secluded spot making it attractive for the tourists. Overnight stay at Kayaloram.
Day 14 : Cochin
After breakfast you will be transferred by motor boat to Alleppey from where you will be left for Cochin. In the afternoon, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin, Jewtown, Mattancherry Palace in Cochin. In the evening see the Kathakali Dance Performance. Overnight stay will be at Hotel.
Day 15 : Cochin
After farewell breakfast, Swagat Tours Representatives will assist you transfer to the Cochin airport for an onward journey. Go back your home destination carrying unforgettable memories.
