Day 01 :- Arrival in Delhi
On arrival at New Delh International Airport, a representative from Swagat Tours & Travels will receive you with warm welcome and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. In the afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi covering famous places like Raj Ghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Red Fort (a UNSECO World Heritage Site), Jama Masjid, etc. Enjoy rickshaw-ride at Chandni Chowk to explore local bazaars. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 02 :- Delhi – Jaipur (by road) 250kms/5hrs
After an early morning breakfast proceed for half-day sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Major attractions may include Lotus Temple, India Gate, The Qutub Minar (72 meters high minaret and the ruins of Quwat – ul – Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosque), Rashtrapati Bhavan (The Presidential Palace) and the Secretariat buildings at Rajpath (The main avenue), High Court Building, Iskon Temple and other places as the time permits. Return to hotel and have some rest. Later drive to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Arrive at Jaipur and check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 03 :- Jaipur
Post morning meal advance for city tour covering Amer fort and climb the fortress ramparts on an Elephant back. Amer (Just 7 miles north of Jaipur is Amer with it’s a honey – colored fortress – Palace in the Aravalli Hills. Walk into the Sheesh Mahal and admire the amazing interior décor thought of over 200 years ago), Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar (The Observatory – a UNESCO World Heritage site) (built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who besides being a prince was also soldier, Astronomer and a builder), City Palace (the current residence of the Royal Family and also a museum exhibiting fine Rajput and Mughal paintings). Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 04 :- Jaipur – Bundi (by road) 250kms/5hrs
After having your breakfast, leave for Bundi. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Freshen up and advance for the city tour of the famous historical monuments like Taragarh Fort (The Taragarh Fort crowns the crest of a steep hill overlooking the town), Sukh Mahal (The magnificent summer palace on the Jait Sagar Lake with lush garden & surroundings of the Aravalli mountain range). Take your dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05 :- Bundi – Udaipur (by road) 250kms/5hrs
Take your breakfast and leave for Udaipur the Venice of East. En-route visit the Chittorgarh Fort (Also called Chittaur, was the capital of Mewar under the Rajputs from the 7th to the 16th century). On arrival, check-in at hotel. Have supper and enjoy your stay at hotel.
Day 06 :- Udaipur
Have your morning brunch and leave for the guided city tour to cover the main attractions like City Palace (It is considered the largest private royal complex in Rajasthan and is replete with history), Crystal Gallery, enjoy boat ride at Lake Pichola, Jagdish Temple (It is a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur city). Saheliyo Ki Bari (Courtyard of the Maidens is a major garden and a popular tourist space in Udaipur), Lok Kala Mandal (It is a folk art museum, world renowned for preservation of folk and tribal art objects, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, costumes, instruments, Kavads (mobile temple), Pratap Memorial (It is a historic site that is dedicated to the gallant Maharana Pratap). Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 07 :- Udaipur – Jodhpur (by road) 300kms/6hrs
Take your morning meal and drive to Jodhpur situated on the southern edge of the Thar Desert. Rao Jodha founded Jodhpur in 1459 A.D., en-route visiting Ranakpur Jain Temple (It was built during the reign of the liberal Rajput monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The temple is renowned for its exquisite architecture and is supported by over 1444 differently carved pillars). On arrival, check-in at hotel. Take your toothsome meal and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 08 :- Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (by road) 300kms/5hrs
Have your breakfast and leave for city tour covering Umaid Bhawan Palace (It is focusing on the 20th century history of the Jodhpur Royal Family), Mehrangarh Fort (The fort is situated 400 feet (122 m) above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards), Jaswant Thada (It is an architectural landmark. It is a white marble memorial built by Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II). Later drive to the ancient desert town of Jaisalmer, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay and dinner will be at hotel.
Day 09 :- Jaisalmer
Day nine of your trip will be dedicated for city tour of Jaisalmer covering major attractions like Jaisalmer Fort (It was built in 1156 AD by the Bhati Rajput ruler Rao Jaisal, from where it derives its name. The fort stands proudly amidst the golden stretches of the great Thar Desert), Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli (The Marvelous Haveli is actually the result of the excellence of two Muslim engineers, Lulu and Hathi), Patwon Ki Haveli (This is precisely the best because of two things, first that it was the first Haveli erected in Jaisalmer and second, that it is not a single Haveli but a cluster of 5 small havelis). Later in the evening drive to Sam Sand dunes. On arrival check-in at tents and enjoy the camel safari, cultural programs along with the dinner. Overnight stay will be at tent.
Day 10 :- Jaisalmer – Bikaner (by road) 350kms/6hrs
Drive to Bikaner post breakfast. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Freshen-up & proceed to visit Junagarh Fort (This fort was built by Raja Rai Singh Ji, the sixth ruler of Bikaner. The fort is one of its kinds with a strong, innovative and formidable structure, which is encircled by a water moat which is believed to have bred crocodiles in the past). Enjoy your overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 :- Bikaner – Mandawa (by road) 200kms/4hrs
Take your morning meal and proceed for Mandawa. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Freshen-up & visit various fascinating Mansions (havelis) that have lavishly painted walls. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 12 :- Mandawa – Delhi (by road) 250kms/5hrs
Have your morning meal and advance to Delhi. At Delhi Swagat Tours and Travels representative will escort you to international airport to connect to the flight for your onward journey.
