Arrive in the morning in Hardwar, Uttaranchal, India. After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, leave Rishikesh, Uttaranchal, India for Delhi, India. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met by Swagat Tours representative and escorted to the hotel. After lavish lunch and some relaxation at the hotel, embark on sightseeing of Delhi. In Delhi, India you will see many heritage monuments, modern shopping malls, lively bazaars, and many places of tourist interest. Delhi is manifestly divided into two parts – Old Delhi and New Delhi.
New Delhi: – Drive along side the widest street of capital – the Rajpath to observe the royal view of the Parliament House, the President House and the India Gate. Visit Humayun’s Tomb which is considered by historians as one of the most magnificent architectural edifice of the Mughal era. Also visit the Qutub Minar – built in 1199 rises to a height of 72.5 metre from a base of 14.32 metre and Birla Mandir – a colorful and modern Hindu temple.
Old Delhi: – After enjoying sightseeing of New Delhi, embark on sightseeing of Old Delhi. Famous tour attraction Old Delhi are the Red Fort – an imposing red sandstone fort built in the 17th century, the Raj Ghat – where the mortal remains of Mahatma Gandhi were cremated, the Jama Masjid – one of the largest mosque and architecturally beautiful monument in India, the imposing Ashoka Pillar – built by the Firoz Shah Tughlak and bustling Chandni Chowk Bazaar.
